Inkeri Tähti plays almost any sounds, the core thing in the music being the psychedelic vibe and defenatly the groove, interesting groove and sounds, be it in the chill or the dance floor. So no genre boundaries or even boundaries regarding the chill/dancefloor. Even thought she wont play anything over 130 bpm in the chill!
She has been a member of the Exogenic Records team since 2007 and works there as a promotions person (and a bit A&R also). When she is in the dj booth, on the dance floor you will hear beats made in Finland and related, from the most moderate end of the genre.
In the chill things get more varied, as it always depends on the place, the crowd, the time and many other factors what to play. But it´s always music for people to feel comfortable, easy going, relaxed, socializing or just listening. Or even sleeping if you like, thought the basslines can be a pretty volumnious lullaby in her sets. If there have to be some genre stamps that would be psybient, downtempo, experimental, electro and some odd findings. Sometimes, she forgets the happy groove totally and go deep in the bass, the sub, the slowly evolving minimal dubstep things with weird and crispy sounds.
She is also a hostess in a twice a month radio show Back To Mad with her friends Max Pleasure and Miazu, broadcasted in Finlands only alterntive radio station Bassoradio . The show is featuring psy trance and psychedelic influenced music and culture from the domestic specialties to the currents from the other places of the planet(s).
