Mac Mavis
Mac Mavis started taking guitar lessons in a age of 11 and after spending few years playing in various bands he got interested in drum-machines and synthesizers and started a one man band.Having also guitar and vocals among the electronics. First studio recordings were done in 1992. Later on his sound developed into totally synthesizer based music with atmospheric ambient vibes and downtempo beats. First vinyl single was released in 1995 and 1998 came out the first full album. After some local gigs and compilation features in 2003 came out the second album "gatefinder". Mac Mavis was also chosen to a promotional compilation put together by Music export Finland. At 2008 Mac Mavis has been chosen for the "Dreams of MySpace" CD compilation wich showcases the "hidden talents" from MySpace.com.
