“Illegal Operation” is the the second single from P. Kosminen and F. Faggott who together form the band Squaremeat. Pepe and Françoise are pioneers of the trance sound in Finland and have considerable experience in making and DJing electronic sounds. Both have played numerous gigs in Finland, Germany, Holland, Denmark, Greece, Goa, Russia and further.
A1. “Illegal Operation” gives a taste of what is to come on the bands next album. This DJ friendly number is divided into a three part accelerating avalanche of tight beats which will take the dancefloor by storm.
B1. “Night Train” is an example of the Squaremeat sound that has made the band very popular live perfomers. Fast, bouncy and danceable are words that come to mind. This track also has that “gathering” quality which irresistibly draws people toward the dancefloor.
