Jungle Boogie Party Line

Squaremeat’s third album ”Jungle Boogie Party Line” continues in the same Psychedelic Power Disco™-style as the previous release “Wave Soup” and the bands active gigging has shaped the sound into an even more compact form. ”Jungle Boogie Party Line” will certainly take its passengers to new spheres.

The percussive engines are started in time with the albums first track, “Yksinäinen Ratsastaja”(Lonely Rider). “Vieteri Kierre”(Spring Twist) takes the plane to the runway and by the time that we reach the third track ”Marion Cross” take off is a fact. High points of the flight include the storming progressive sounds of track seven “Espoo Sunrise” and the mindbending qualities of track eight “Milk Nothing”. The last track ”De Kiero Poron” (Twisted Reindeer) brings you down on the ground again with some rootsy percussive elements . Pepe Kosminen has in the past and in the present released material as a member of the groups O*Men, Fluoro Fantasy, Midiliitto and Flying Scorpions, he is also an active DJ. Françoise Faggott is one of the founding members of the hilarious group called Texas Faggott. His live drumming can be heard on the gigs of Squaremeat. Squaremeat have been touring for the last couple of years in addition to Europe in Russia, Israel, India and Japan.
